Nigeria NIMASA Circulars
NLNG Management has completed an extensive review of the NLNG Tugboat rate against other terminals (both load & discharge), and have seen that NLNG current rate is significantly lower. The Tugs are leased and NLNG has been subsidizing the Towage cost up till now, the primary objective of this review is to recover actual cost of the service, as per the international practice. Therefore, the new rates of the Marine Tugs used to provide this service would now be $599/Hour/Per Tug. Please advise the FOB buyers of this change in rate which has commenced and advise your finance department for compliance.
