Berthing/unberthing restrictions

Temporary berthing/unberthing restrictions are in place at Ras Laffan Liquid Petroleum Berths (LPBs), due to a faulty velocity meter, as follows:

LPB 20:
- Only daylight berthing permitted.
- Vessels with LOA less than 200m, max windspeed allowed is 25 knots.
- Vessels with LOA between 200m and 230m, max windspeed allowed is 20 knots.
- Vessels with LOA 230m or more, the max windspeed allowed is 15 knots.
- No restriction on sailing at night.

LPB 21:
- Only daylight berthing permitted.
- Vessels with LOA less than 200m, max windspeed allowed is 25 knots.
- Vessels with LOA between 200m and 230m, max windspeed allowed is 20 knots.
- Vessels with LOA 230m or more, the max windspeed allowed is 15 knots.
- No berthing at LPB 21 if there is a vessel berthed at LPB 22.
- Only daylight sailing for VLCC from LPB 21 if there is a vessel at LPB 22.

LPB 23:
- Only day light berthing permitted.
- Vessels with LOA less than 200m, max windspeed allowed is 25 knots.
- Vessels with LOA between 200m and 230m, max windspeed allowed is 20 knots.
- Vessels with LOA 230m or more, the max windspeed allowed is 15 knots.
- No berthing at LPB 23 if there is a vessel berthed at LPB 24.
- Only daylight sailing for VLCC from LPB 23 if there is a vessel at LPB 24.
