The competent authority has approved the berthing policy to accommodate POL / Non-POL vessels at oil piers at Karachi Ports, which is stated as under:
Oil Pier-I
- Dedicated for vessels carrying POL propducts
-Private vessel if no berthing is required for POL vessel
Oil Pier-II
- Two POL vessels followed by one Non-POL vessel
Dry Berth No.1
- Non POL / POL vessels when no dry cargo vessel is awaiting the berth
Dry Berth No.2
- Non-POL tankers
Pakistan flag vessels will have priority in all cases.
