The Port of Fujairah is pleased to announce that the ban on hull cleaning above the water line has been lifted, in accordance with NTM 148 Section 45, which has been amended to state: "Hull Cleaning above the water line is permitted.".
To facilitate this change, the Port of Fujairah has issued a comprehensive guide titled 'Hull Cleaning - Port of Fujairah Guidelines and Requirements'. This document provides a detailed overview of the guidelines and requirements for conducting hull cleaning operations at the Port of Fujairah, ensuring compliance with essential procedures, documentation, and regulations.
These guidelines aim to promote safety and environmentally conscious practices during hull cleaning operations.
