Due to the Labour Day holiday, all official institutions and banks in Turkey will be closed during all day on Friday, 1 May.
Arrangements for vessels’ spares delivery, provisions, etc. during the holiday period to should made in advance to save money and time.
Some ports may be closed on this date and/or rates for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) increased by 50%. Therefore, please check prior to calling at any Turkish Port.
The 50% surcharge will be in force for pilotage services in the Turkish Straits on 1 May.
GAC Turkey will be on duty during the holiday.
