Swimming races around the Peng Chau will take place from 0730 hours to 1500 hours on 1 October 2024 (Tuesday). About 250 swimmers, under the escort of guard boats, are expected to participate in the races.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the racing routes should proceed with caution and give a wide berth to the swimmers. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 is mandatory.
In case of inclement weather, the races will be postponed to 6 October 2024 (Sunday).
