The annual escalation factor for the year 2020-21 for indexation of SOR is 1.88%. The indexed SOR shall be effective from 1 May 2020 and will be valid until 30 April 2021.
However, the indexation is not applicable for the Tariff covered in under the Scale of Rates clause No.7.7 pertaining to the Schedule of charges for operation of Mobile X-Ray Container Scanning at VPT for which indexation to the extent of 60% of the variation in the WPI is applicable (i.e. @ 1/13%).
The escalation of 1.88% will be applicable on all vessel related services, cargo related services and miscellaneous services related to vessel and cargo [except Wharfage of cargo coking coal (Conv), fertilizer (Mech), tock phosphate (Mech)].
