Anchoring of vessels at Tuas View Extension off AVLCC

The working period at Tuas View Extension has been extended until 6 March 2024.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.77 of 2023 dated 28 August 2023, the work is being conducted 24 hours daily including - Sundays & Public Holidays – off the Very Large Crude Carrier Anchorage (AVLCC), at the following coordinates with safety radius (WGS 84 Datum):

Safety radius: 225m

ATWJ3
01° 14.504'N / 103° 37.699'E
Safety radius: 300m

ATWJ4
01° 14.504'N / 103° 38.063'E
Safety radius: 300m

ATWJ5
01° 14.557'N / 103° 38.455'E
Safety radius: 300m

ATWJ6
01° 14.696'N / 103° 38.802'E
Safety radius: 300m

Bulk carriers will be anchoring and discharging sand at the break bulking slots at Tuas View Extension. The safety radius is 225m for ATWJ2 and 300m for (ATWJ3, ATWJ4, ATWJ5, ATWJ6).

The arrival and departure movements of bulk carriers will take place during daylight hours.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
