Anchorage charge

Looking at the strong tidal conditions prevalent within Gulf of Khambhat region and to increase safety of navigation within Gulf of Khambhat region, vessels will be required to anchor at designated anchorage area as instructed by Dahej Port Control/ VTMS Gulf of Khambhat rather than steaming off port limit.

With effect from 0001hrs on 01st of June 2023, anchorage charge will be applicable to vessels calling Adani Petronet (Dahej) Port Limited and waiting at designated anchorage.

Following tariff rate will be applicable for Anchorage Charge at Adani Petronet (Dahej) Port Limited:

Anchorage charge: USD 0.00130 per GRT, per hour

1.1 Anchorage charges will be applicable for all vessels anchoring at designated anchorage area.

1.2 For berthing: From the time of vessel dropping anchor till vessel getting underway.

1.3 For sailing: From the time of vessel dropping anchor till anchor aweigh.

1.4 Drifting within Gulf of Khambhat limit is generally not permitted. In case if vessel required to drift within Gulf of Khambhat region, permission for the same is to be obtained from Dahej Port Control/ VTMS Gulf of Khambhat. Vessel drifting within the VTMS- Gulf of Khambhat limit will be charged in accordance with anchorage charge from the time vessel is instructed to drift by Dahej Port Control/ VTMS Gulf of Khambhat till pilot boarding time.
