The Suez Canal Authority has announced new amendments for some fixed rebates for LNG carriers, namely new percentages to be applied from 1 January to 30 June 2022:
LNG tankers operating between the American Gulf and the Arabian Gulf, as well as ports from western India to the port of Kochi: rebate of 30% of Suez Canal normal tolls.
Eastern ports to the port of Kochi to Singapore: rebate of 55% of Suez Canal normal tolls.
Singapore and its eastern ports: a rebate of 70% of Suez Canal normal tolls.
