Amended mooring and sustainability charges

Dighi port is moving towards a Green Sustainable Port which attempts to reduce its carbon footprint, waste, and pollution, and enhance biodiversity by employing sustainable practices in port and the strategies including activities that Dighi port undertakes to meet current and future needs of those who use it, while protecting and sustaining human and natural resources ensuring smooth global trade by sea.

In order to contribute to a greener future and support sustainable initiatives, Port is introducing Sustainability charges applicable with effect from 1 October 2023.

Also Mooring charges have been reduced to mitigate any effect of new charge on the Trade as per below table.

The details of the applicable charges are listed below. The revised charges will be applicable with effect from 1 October 2023

Mooring Charges
- UOM: Per GT per VCN
- Existing Tariff Rate (USD): 0.1736
- Revised Tariff New Rate (USD): 0.1476
- Minimum Charges $ 210 and not applicable to vessels not using berth facilities

Sustainability charges
- UOM: Per GT per VCN
- Existing Tariff Rate (USD): -
- Revised Tariff New Rate (USD): 0.03
