Additional port charges

31 Dec 2024 / Mai-Liao, Taiwan

Mai-Liao Port Company has announced additional port charges related to high-risk vessels and seawater pollution.

When entering the port, high-risk ships identified by the company must lay out two oil blocking ropes and strengthen the frequency of personnel monitoring. The ships will be charged a fixed fee of two oil blocking lines regardless of the type of loading and unloading. In addition, if there are any additional labor-related expenses, etc., they will also be charged.

If seawater pollution occurs, additional compensation will be charged and entry into the port will be restricted.
