London, UK – GAC’s Group Business Development Manager for Oil & Gas Simon Morris has relocated to the UK, in a strategic move that puts him in a central position from which to assist GAC operations around the world serving this important business sector. He reports directly to William Hill, recently appointed Executive Group Vice President – Oil & Gas, as part of the drive to raise GAC’s profile as a more strategic, active and successful player in the industry.
Morris’ move from Houston to London, effective from 1 May 2015, is part of that sharpened focus on Oil & Gas. It puts him close to the established North Sea energy market and emerging new exploration and extraction sites in the Mediterranean and West Africa, whilst also placing him centrally to oversee worldwide support for one of the Group’s key oil & gas clients, in his continued role as Global Key Account Manager.
Morris joined GAC in 1995 and was based in Dubai before moving to the USA in his capacity as Business Development Manager for Oil & Gas.
