"To win at your own club in front of all your friends and family – the crowds were amazing, I could just feel the momentum building and the crowd getting bigger and bigger towards the end. It’s a great experience and a very special day for me,” he says. “I think I’ve got this course down after 18 years of playing golf! I think it played to my advantage knowing when to be aggressive and when not to."

William Hill, GAC’s Executive Group Vice President Commercial, adds: "Once again, George has done the GAC brand proud, confirming the value of our philosophy of investing in long-term relationships - both in business and in our sponsorships. This applies as much to promising young talent we support as it does to established players like George, and we wish all our brand ambassadors the very best for the rest of the season."
